This course is aimed at musicians who are preparing for competitions, exams or important auditions and would like to be able to perform to their full potential, focused on the music and completely at ease with their instrument.
Performing in front of an audience or jury requires more than perfect preparation of the instrument. It’s an extraordinary moment of pressure and stress that demands self-confidence. The nervous system’s reaction to this situation can be highly detrimental to the performance. This is often the only reason for a talented person’s failure.
Mental methods such as visualisations, affirmation training, breathing and body exercises, mental practice and the use of embodiment enable musicians to keep control of their playing and experience a moment of joy and music even in front of a jury.
In 5 individual sessions, this course gives you the opportunity to analyse and understand your individual stress factors, develop helpful tools and draw up a personalised training plan to achieve your personal goal.
These mental techniques are also suitable for people who have problems with their playing technique or physical problems related to playing music.
