Winner of several international competitions and distinctions/honors (WPTA Competition, Special Prize at the Grieg Competition in Bergen, Adami’s Classical Revelations, etc.), Guillaume Sigier studied at the Paris Superior Conservatory – CNSM – with Henri Barda, Roger Muraro, Jean-Frédéric Neuburger and Claire Desert. After graduating with a Diploma of Performing Artist in Paris, he completed his experience at the Royal College in London. During his career, he benefited from the advice of famous people such as Anne Quéffelec, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, Jean-Claude Pennetier, Philippe Bianconi, Christian Ivaldi, Avedis Kouyoumdjian, the Wanderer trio…

Guillaume performs in recital or in chamber music at many French and international festivals (Ensembles in residence at La Roque d’Anthéron, Piano in Lyon, Piano in Saintonge, En Blanc Et Noir, Kyoto International Festival, Pablo Casals Festival, Word Piano Conference of Novi Sad…).

He shares the stage with many artists of his generation such as Manon Galy, Julien Dieudegard, Shuichi Okada, Yan Levionnois, Pierre-Yves Hodique… Former member of the Polygones ensemble and the Andersen trio, he has also recorded two discs, with the violinist Jaha Lee and around the work of Fabien Touchard.

Guillaume is also a teacher at the Paris Superior Conservatory – CNSM – and at the Conservatory – CRR – in Boulogne-Billancourt, and artistic director of the “Notes d’été à Irancy” Festival.
