Regularly praised by critics, made up of talented musicians, the Yako String Quartet travels the world, inviting festivals and the largest concert halls. Noted in the classical world for their strong interaction with the public, they are compared to a rock group by critics.
This evening they will perform major pieces from the repertoire for String Quartet with the Divertimento in D major composed when Mozart was only 16 years old, Beethoven’s quartet No. 10 also named “the harps” because of the pizzicati of the first movement and the Ravel quartet which Debussy admired: “In the name of the gods of music, and mine, do not touch anything that you have written about your Quartet”.
