Born in 1968, Jina Park started her studies of piano at Ewha University in South Korea. After earning the highest degrees for both her concertist and chamber music degree at Ecole Normale de Musique Cortot of Paris (class of G. Mounier and class of N.Patarcec), she perfected her art studying in master classes with professors such as F.Thinat, D.Merlet, P. Devoyon, L. Naumov, S. MIkovsky, and J.Menuhin at the National Conservatory of Orleans // Conservatoire National d’Orléans.

Jina Park was awarded with the Special Prize of Classic Sonata at the Concours International Sofia in Bulgaria. She was also awarded in other international competitions with multiple prizes such as the Prix de Virtuosité of Concours Claude Kahn, the Grand Prix of Concours of the Piano Society of Korea, as well as the 2nd Prize of Concours Pusan MBC.

Jina Park has showcased her talent in concerts all over the world including Paris, Salzburg, Flaine, Prade, Sofia, Bacau, Seoul, Pusan…

Furthermore, she was invited to the “De Paris à Séoul” recital held by the French Cultural Center of Seoul in 2000 and also to the recital organized as a reward of being selected as one of the “Young Promising Artists of 2001” by Seoul Arts Center.

She is presently teaching at Kookmin University in Seoul.
