Il est devenu, apr\u00e8s son changement de tessiture (initi\u00e9e par Christian Tr\u00e9guier), un t\u00e9nor qui a su gagn\u00e9 une r\u00e9putation internationale par ses interpr\u00e9tations de nombreux grands r\u00f4les, tels que Don Jos\u00e9 (qu\u2019il chante plus de 80 fois), Hoffmann, Faust (Berlioz und Gounod), Florestan (Fidelio), Bacchus, Porcus… <\/span><\/p>\nDes grands chefs comme Sylvain Cambreling (Catulli Carmina \/ Orff et les Noces \/ Stravinsky), Helmut Rilling et St\u00e9phane Den\u00e8ve (Jeanne d\u2019Arc au Bucher\/Honegger) l\u2019engagent pour des enregistrements.<\/span><\/p>\n His partners include June Anderson, Jos\u00e9 van Dam, B\u00e9atrice Uria-Monzon, George Gagnidze, Catherine Foster, Fran\u00e7ois Le Roux, Jen-Philippe Lafont; and directors Christophe Marthaler, Romeo Castellucci, John Fulljames, Anthony Pilavachi, Charles Roubaud…<\/span><\/p>\n After a career of over 20 years on some of the world’s greatest opera stages, including the Teatro Real Madrid (Hoffmann 2014), La Monnaie Brussels, Staatsoper Stuttgart, Op\u00e9ra de Lyon, Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Suntory Hall Tokyo, Bordeaux, Warsaw, etc., it seemed only natural that he should pass on the knowledge and experience he has acquired over the years on stage.<\/span><\/p>\n A singing teacher since October 2024 at the Ecole Normale de Musique de Paris, from October 2022 to July 2024 at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Dresden and from September 2017 to July 2022 at the Conservatoire \u00e0 Rayonnement R\u00e9gional de Strasbourg and its P\u00f4le Sup\u00e9rieur, he is also the founder and director of the Internationale SommerAkademie am Rhein, a summer course since 2016 focusing on opera in Germany, near Strasbourg.<\/span><\/p>\n The Musicalta summer academy, which is held in Alsace for 29 years, regularly invites him to be one of its teachers.<\/span><\/p>\n He is also invited to give masterclasses (Musikhochschule Mannheim in November 2021, CRR Paris in 2015) and to sit on juries.<\/span><\/p>\n He holds the \u2018die Kunst der Lehre 4.0\u2019 diploma awarded by the continuing education network of German Hochschulen f\u00fcr Musik in June 2024, as well as the Gesangp\u00e4dagogische Zertifikat awarded to him in June 2021 by the Bundesverband Deutscher P\u00e4dagogen (an association of which he is a member and which is part of the EVTA (European Voice Teachers Association)).
