\"\"<\/a>Invited to perform on stages all over the world, Eliane Reyes has captivated audiences with her musical personality. She constantly dares to break new ground, always retaining her own subtle touch. <\/span><\/p>\n

Initially trained by her mother, she gave her first recital at the age of 5 and was awarded the Prix C\u00e9sar Franck the same year. <\/span><\/p>\n

A Franco-Belgian pianist, she studied at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles, then at the Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden and at the CNSM in Paris.<\/span><\/p>\n

Eliane Reyes has been nominated three times for the \u2018International Classical Music Awards\u2019 and has been awarded the \u2018Octaves\u2019 for music in Belgium for her entire career. A 45-minute documentary on her musical career (\u2018Jeunes solistes, grands destins\u2019, directed by Thierry Loreau and Pierre Barr\u00e9) was screened on Belgian national television RTBF. <\/span><\/p>\n

In 2017, Eliane Reyes had the privilege of performing with the Trio Koch for the Imperial Family of Japan, during the state visit of H.R.H. the Grand Duke of Luxembourg to the Akasaka Palace, having previously performed for Simone Veil at the European Parliament in Luxembourg. <\/span><\/p>\n

In the 2018\/2019 season, she performs in a recital at La Roque d’Anth\u00e9ron and at the Folle Journ\u00e9e de Nantes, then at the Salle Gaveau in Chopin’s Second Concerto conducted by Debora Waldman. She also performed Mozart’s \u2018Jeunhomme\u2019 concerto under the baton of Roberto Benzi, and Malcolm Arnold’s concerto for four hands with Frank Braley and the Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie. <\/span><\/p>\n

In a duo with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, they won the Gouden Label for their world premiere recording of Brahms-Br\u00fcll-Bargiel. <\/span><\/p>\n

An honorary citizen of her home town of Verviers (Belgium), she became the first Belgian pianist to receive the insignia of \u2018Chevalier de l’ordre des Arts et des Lettres\u2019 in France. <\/span><\/p>\n

A member of the jury at numerous international competitions, Eliane Reyes currently teaches at the CNSMD in Paris. <\/span><\/p>\n
