Pennetier, while pursuing studies at the Sorbonne (Master\u2019s degree in Philosophy). Graduate of the Paris Conservatoire, he is a laureate of the Menuhin Foundation and the International Piano Competition in Barcelona.<\/p>\n<p>In 1982, he met G.Seb\u00f6k and went to study with him for three years as an \u201cArtist diploma student\u201d at Indiana University (Bloomington, USA), having received scholarships from the Fulbright Foundation and the French Government.<\/p>\n<p>He has been taking part in numerous recordings and concerts. He has performed with the Ensemble Erwartung (several records with works by Milhaud and Villa-Lobos), and the Ensemble Entretemps. He regularly performs for Radio-France, and produces broadcasts for France-Musique Radio about piano pieces (\u201cBrief pieces for piano\u201d) and great pianists (Wilhelm Kempff, Gy\u00f6rgy Seb\u00f6k).<\/p>\n<p>Among his chamber music partners : David Guerrier, Daniel Arrignon, Nicolas Moutier, Antoine Tamestit, Michel Michalakakos, Jo\u00ebl Soultanian, Henri Demarquette, Stephane Tran Ngoc, Clara Novakova, David Selig, Laurent Cabasso, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Granjon, Dana Ciocarlie, Fuminori Tanada, Myriam Bonnin, Max Bonnay, Alain Buet, Marie Kobayashi\u2026. He regularly takes part in chamber music concerts of the l\u2019Orchestre de chambre de Paris.<\/p>\n<p>As a soloist, Michel Benha\u00efem has played with orchestras such as Bucharest Georges Enesco Philarmonia, Orchestre Symphonique Paris-Rive Droite and Sinfonietta de Picardie. He has performed and given master-classes in Germany, Holland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Italy, Isra\u00ebl, Palestine, recently in French Polynesia, USA and Japan.<\/p>\n<p>He is the artistic director of the &#8221; Musicales au Fival&#8221;, a chamber music festival in Ard\u00e8che.<\/p>\n<p>Michel Benha\u00efem is now professor at Strasbourg Conservatory and Superior Music Academy (piano and chamber-music).<br \/>\n[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n<span class=\"et_bloom_bottom_trigger\"><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Born in Paris, Michel Benha\u00efem studied the piano with G.Mounier and J-C.
