That was without counting on a strong, powerful and generous personality of rare conviviality. As a former soloist of the Orchestre National de Lyon, which he regretted having to leave in order to honour the multitude of invitations he received, he generously shares his gifts with many ensembles, where his brilliance is only equalled by his virtuosity.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Hexagone Brass Ensemble is the most brilliant example. Talent, passion and originality are acknowledged internationally – a serious reputation for teaching experience – an original and renewed repertoire – all this contributes to form a permanent ensemble that is unique in France and in Europe, which regularly represents the French Brass School all over the world.( ITG Conference 2005 Bangkok )<\/span><\/p>\n

Pierre DUTOT, who during 22 years was a Professor at the Lyon Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique (CNSMDL), is one of the most sought after teachers of the French Brass tradition, <\/span><\/p>\n

As an ambassador of a particular teaching ideology that does not only want to perform for oneself, or for an informed audience, but that also wishes to give others a message, his qualities lead him to give master classes in France and abroad, where his performances are particulary worthy of notice. \u00a0Thanks to his renowned teaching expertise, he also takes part in high-level international courses and gives master-classes throughout the world : Mexico, Brazil, USA, Australia, China, Japan, South Africa, Vietnam, Portugal, England, Spain…<\/span><\/p>\n
