At the age of three she received her first piano lessons, and later she attended the Music high school. <\/span><\/p>\n

She studied piano at the Kyoto City University of Arts with Prof. Yasuko Tasumi and Prof. Kenichi Ara and finished her master’s degree. Acquisition of the prize of the Faculty of Music. Numerous concert performances followed in Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto and Kobe among other. <\/span><\/p>\n

She received an award from the National Broadcasting Corporation (NHK) at the Yougaku (european classic music) audition.
\n<\/span>As a scholarship holder of the Rotary Foundation International, she continued her pianist training with Prof. Tibor Hazay at the State University of Music in Freiburg in Germany in 1988. She passed the Artistic Reifepr\u00fcfung as well as the soloist examination with special award.<\/p>\n

In addition, she won the Society for the Promotion of the Freiburg University of Music and was a finalist at the Mendelssohn Competition in Berlin. <\/span><\/p>\n

Yasue Yuki also received further important impulses at master classes by Christoph Eschenbach,\u00a0<\/span>Gy\u00f6rgy Seb\u00f6k and Victor Merzhanov.\u00a0Her artistic works are documented, for example broadcast recordings or a Solo-CD recording with\u00a0<\/span>works of F.Chopin (24 Prelude etc.), about which the Badische Zeitung wrote:\u00a0“The Japanese pianist has particular strengths in the lyrical field. […]” <\/span><\/p>\n

As a soloist, she played piano concerts by Mozart (KV466,488,491), Brahms (No.1) and Chopin (No.1, at the WDR Musikfest) with the Mozart Kammerorchester, Studio Orchester Duisburg etc. Apart from her solo concert activities (piano recitals, performances at the music festivals), she also devotes herself intensively to chamber music. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since 1988, Yasue Yuki has been living in Freibug and since 1996 she has been teaching at the Freiburg University of Music – Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik – in Germany.<\/span>
