Concert player and professor of piano, chamber music, organ and music theory, he received the basis of\u00a0his musical training in the Conservatorio Superior de M\u00fasica del Liceo de Barcelona and the Conservatoire\u00a0National de Region de Bordeaux (France) under the tutelage of Ram\u00f3n Coll and Francis Chapelet. Among\u00a0great pianists, such as Vlado Perlemuter, Ma Joao Pires, Joaqu\u00edn Ach\u00facarro and Germaine Mounier,\u00a0influenced highly his career Walid Akl, Alexis Weissenberg and Alicia de Larrocha, who supported the \u201cIntegral\u00a0Piano of Joaqu\u00edn Turina\u201d (IPJT) performed by Antonio Soria on 16 CDs, as the world’s first recording, Best\u00a0Spanish Production Prize of Ritmo magazine 1995, Compact CD Prize 1997, and qualified like \u201dIntegrally\u00a0Historic\u201d by Alicia de Larrocha, who personally invited Antonio Soria to offer master classes in the Escuela\u00a0Granados-Marshall in Barcelona during its centenary year. Among his numerous live recordings, was invited by Jos\u00e9\u00a0Luis Garc\u00eda del Busto (secretary of the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando) in the monograph\u00a0program “Pianists Spanish” performing works by Soler, Chopin, Granados, Turina, Ravel and Villalobos, on the\u00a050th anniversary of Radio Cl\u00e1sica RNE.<\/p>\n

Antonio Soria performs as a soloist at recitals and concerts in Spain, Portugal, Poland, Italy, Denmark, Bulgaria,\u00a0Mexico, USA, Egypt, Germany, Austria, Brazil, Sweden, Turkey, Macedonia, Norway, Russia, Romania and\u00a0France with the Kremlin Chamber Orchestra of Moscow, the Leos Janaceck Chamber Orchestra, Camerata Mediterr\u00e1nea, Sofia\u00a0Soloists Chamber Orchestra, FM Classics Symphonic Orchestra, Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica Estatal de M\u00e9xico, Greensboro\u00a0Philharmonia, Orquestra della Magna Grecia, Craiova National Orchestra, Orchestra Pistoiese Promusica, Orquesta Sinf\u00f3nica de\u00a0la Universidad de Guanajuato, Cappella Istropolitana, Sinf\u00f3nica de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Nuevo Le\u00f3n (Monterrey),\u00a0conducted by Misha Rachlevnsky, Guerassim Voronkov, Plamen Djouroff, Velizar Genchev, Robert Gutter,\u00a0Jes\u00fas Medina, Andrea Barizza, Daniele Giorgi, Ra\u00fal Guti\u00e9rrez, Valentin Doni, Jeffrey Silberschlag, Salvador\u00a0Brotons, Johannes Rieger, Aur\u00e9lien Bello di Francia, Reinhard Seehafer, Gilles Colliard and Miklos Talkas,\u00a0among other artists as Elena Obraztsova (mezzo-soprano), Ana Mar\u00eda S\u00e1nchez (soprano), Robert Expert\u00a0(countertenor), Mar\u00e7al Cervera (violoncello), Paul Meyer (clarinet) or Paul Badura-Skoda (four-hands piano). He\u00a0has also been on the cover of Audioclasica, Ritmo, CD Compact; an international critic presents him as \u201ca great\u00a0continuator of the glories of the piano such as Iturbi and De Larrocha\u201d (Horacio Vel\u00e1zquez. In 1994, as a pianist of the duo Reinecke, he was the winner of the competition \u201cPaper de M\u00fasica de Capellades\u201d by\u00a0an unanimous jury chaired by the prestigious spanish conductor Antoni Ros Marb\u00e1. Antonio Soria is doctor and\u00a0master in Aesthetics and Musical Creativity from the University of Valencia. He\u2019s professor in the High\u00a0Conservatory of Oviedo (Principality of Asturias). He is also a guest teacher at various international courses of\u00a0musical performance: \u201dCourse of High Musical Perfection for Singers\u201d in Callosa d\u2019en Sarri\u00e1, together with Elena\u00a0Obraztsova; Baroque Music Course in Benidorm; \u201cInternational Summer Course\u201d in Denia (1995 edition, together with\u00a0figures such as Victoria de Los \u00c1ngeles); Festival-Academie aux Arcs, France. Antonio Soria is the academic and\u00a0artistic director of the ISLIM (Superior Institute of Music Language and Performance (created by the SOCA\u00a0[Fundaci\u00f3n Sociedad de Conciertos de Albacete -institution he chairs since 2000-], the Castilla-La Mancha University, and\u00a0the ISEAcv [Higher Institute of Artistic Studies of the Valencian Community], and the Filarm\u00f3nica Cervantes Project.\u00a0He has been appointed by his home town major\u2019s office as an ambassador of the Feria de Albacete (Albacete Fair),\u00a0declared of international tourist interest, in commemoration of the third centenary of the privilege given to the\u00a0town by King Philippe V, in 1710.<\/p>\n
