Ir\u00e9n\u00e9e Groz is a chamber music professor at the Regional Conservatory of Douai (Nord).<\/span><\/p>\n

He trained as an oboist at the Haute \u00c9cole des Arts du Rhin, the Musikhochschule Stuttgart, and the Musikhochschule Saarbr\u00fccken, notably studying with Christian Schmitt and S\u00e9bastien Giot. He currently holds a master’s degree in pedagogy, a master’s degree in performance, as well as an engineering diploma from Grenoble-INP in Physics and Computer Science. <\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2019, he has performed as an orchestral musician and soloist in France and abroad, as well as in various chamber music ensembles: Luxembourg Chamber Orchestra, Opera National du Rhin, Douai Orchestra, National Orchestra of Metz, Op\u00e9ra \u00e9clat\u00e9, Paris Firefighters\u2019 Orchestra, Embarquement Imm\u00e9diat Festival, Academia della Chigiana Festival (Italy)…<\/span><\/p>\n

Passionate about early music, Ir\u00e9n\u00e9e has been dedicating himself since 2020 to playing historical instruments in Strasbourg with Renata Duarte, then at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Antoine Torunczyk. <\/span><\/p>\n
