His repertoire ranges from the music of the Renaissance to contemporary works and encompasses also rarely performed works such as the second piano concerto by Carl Maria von Weber, the piano concerto by Arnold Sch\u00f6nberg, \u201cMasques\u201d by Karol Szymanowski and the piano works by Theodor W. Adorno. In concerts at the Berliner Philharmonie, the Alte Oper Frankfurt, the Schwetzingen Festival, the Darmstadt International Summer Courses for New Music a.o. as well as for productions of numerous European broadcasting companies he played and partially premiered compositions by Stockhausen, Ligeti, Furrer, Berio, Kagel, Kurz and Engelmann. He has worked with conductors such as Bernhard Kontarsky, Johannes Debus, Alexander Winterson and Dennis Russell Davies.   <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Apart from his commitments as a performer, Eike Wernhard is also active as an author. His has written various articles and a book on pianist Clara Haskil which is also available as an audiobook. Recently his two-volume piano method \u201ctastsinn\u201d for teenagers and adults was issued by the publishing house B\u00e4renreiter.  <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">He gained his first teaching experience as a student.
