\"\"<\/a>Greek-American violinist Ariadne Daskalakis, a unique performer and pedagogue of both modern and baroque violin, concertizes with renowned ensembles in major venues around the world. In the dual role of leader and soloist she also works extensively with chamber orchestras and period instrument ensembles. Recent highlights include performances with the Beethoven Orchestra Bonn as soloist and leader, performances of the complete works for violin solo by J.S. Bach and appearances at festivals in New York, Portland and Montepulciano. In 2025 she also served on the Jury of the Tibor Varga Int\u2019l Violin Competition. <\/span><\/p>\n

A laureate of the Int\u2019l Competition of the ARD Munich, she studied at the Juilliard School, Harvard University and the Hochschule der K\u00fcnste Berlin. Her mentors included Eric Rosenblith, Eugene Lehner, Szymon Goldberg and Ilan Gronich. <\/span><\/p>\n

Ariadne Daskalakis is Professor at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik und Tanz K\u00f6ln since 2000. <\/span><\/p>\n

As Artistic Director of the \u201cPalazzo Ricci\u201d Academy Montepulciano she has developed and curates a multi-disciplinary 7-month season. She also leads the chamber music festival \u201cMusic from Land\u2019s End Wareham\u201d (USA), which she founded in 2012. Ariadne has contributed to \u201cThe Strad\u201d magazine\u2019s columns \u201cTeaching and Playing: Technique\u201d and \u201c5 Practice Tips\u201d, and is collaborating on the new \u201cWiener Urtext Edition\u201d of the Beethoven Violin Sonatas. <\/span><\/p>\n
