\"\"<\/a>Born in Dendermonde (Belgium) in 1979, Lieve Goossens is solo flute with the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Li\u00e8ge and flute teacher at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles.<\/span><\/p>\n

After studying at the Royal Conservatories of Ghent and Antwerp with Philippe Benoit and Aldo Baerten, she continued her training with Gaby Pas-Van Riet in Saarbr\u00fccken, where she obtained the Advanced Diploma in 2004.<\/span><\/p>\n

At the same time, she took masterclasses with Emmanuel Pahud, Peter-Lukas Graf, Philippe Bernold and Philippe Boucly.<\/span><\/p>\n

Lieve has won several competitions: Mozart (Wiesbaden), Tenuto, Dexia Classics, etc.
<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2000 to 2002 she was a member of the European Union Orchestra, conducted by Vladimir<\/span>
Askenazy, Sir Colin Davis, Paavo J\u00e4rvi,…<\/span><\/p>\n

From 2002 to 2005 Lieve was solo piccolo with the Saarbr\u00fccken Staatsorchester, and since September 2005 she has been solo flute with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Li\u00e8ge.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Lieve loves chamber music, she is a member of the wind ensemble I Solisti and plays regularly in other chamber music ensembles. As a substitute she plays regularly in other orchestras such as the Orchestre de la Monnaie, Antwerp Symphony Orchestra, the Orchestra of Opera Vlaanderen, Symfonie-orkest Vlaanderen etc.<\/span><\/p>\n

As a soloist, she has played with the Flemish Radio Orchestra (Brussels Philharmonic), the Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Li\u00e8ge, La Musique Royale des Guides, the Flemish Youth Orchestra and the Charlemagne Orchestra.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since September 2023 Lieve has been a flute teacher at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, after 13 years as an assistant at the Royal Conservatories of Antwerp and Li\u00e8ge.<\/span><\/p>\n
