Born in Korea, Jee-Hyun LEE was well recognized for her talents as a cellist from a young age. She graduated from Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School in Korea and then graduated from the University Of Music And Performing Arts Vienna in Austria with a bachelor\u2019s degree. She was also one of the youngest graduates to earn a master\u2019s degree from the University Of Music And Performing Arts Vienna.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jee-Hyun LEE went on to win 1st prize and the Jury\u2019s special prize at the Le Note Sinfonie International Competition in Italy. She also won 2nd prize at the Dichler International Competition in Austria.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She has also performed with various major orchestras including Kazan Russian National Symphony Orchestra, Bucheon Philharmonic Orchestra, and AN DIE MUSIK Orchestra. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Her performances across many European stages in Austria, Italy, Germany, Hungary, and Bulgaria helped her gain more experience and depth in her musical interpretation and techniques. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She performed at the Fest Saal cello recital in Austria, the Korean Song Night Concert, was invited to the Women\u2019s Day Commemoration at the Austrian National Assembly and the 65th anniversary commemorating the liberation of Korea at the Egyptian Embassy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The cellist also performed with various performers at Musikverein, Haus der Musik, Schlosstheater Sch\u00f6nbrunn, ORF, Technisches Museum, B\u00f6sendorfer Saal, Kaiser Saal, Joseph Haydn Saal, Franz Liszt Saal, Fanny-Hensel-Mendelssohn Saal, Kronberg International Cello festival, Sozopol International Music Festival, Cuvee International Music Festival, Wiener Musikseminar International Music Festival.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jee-Hyun Lee has been continuously active performing as a soloist and as well as performing with ensembles at the Seoul Art Center, Sejong Center For The Performing Arts, Lotte Concert Hall, Daejeon Arts Center, and Daegu Concert House. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She also played as the principal cellist of the Crescendo Austria Orchestra and principal cellist of the Geumcheon Symphony Orchestra.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She moreover served as a vice-principal guest of the Seongnam Philharmonic Orchestra, the Ditto Orchestra, the New World Philharmonic Orchestra, and Alte Musik Seoul.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Jee-Hyun Lee has worked as a lecturer at Keimyung University, Jeonbuk National University, Able Art Orchestra and Cello Ensemble Heal. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">She is currently an active member of the Wien Ensemble and Seoul Soloist Cello Ensemble, and is also working hard to teach and train young students at Yewon School and Seoul Arts High School.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n<span class=\"et_bloom_bottom_trigger\"><\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>N\u00e9e en Cor\u00e9e, Jee-Hyun LEE a \u00e9t\u00e9 reconnue pour ses talents de violoncelliste d\u00e8s son plus jeune \u00e2ge.
