\"\"<\/a>Katia Nemirovitch-Dantchenko comes from a renowned family of Russian writers, directors, playwrights and artists who have contributed for generations to the resurgence of the performing arts in Russia.<\/span><\/p>\n

Having attended the Central Specialized School of Music for Gifted Children and the Tchaikovsky Higher Conservatory in Moscow, she graduated as concert pianist, teacher and accompanist with honors in all three disciplines.<\/span><\/p>\n

She performs as a soloist and chamber musician in Europe, Egypt, Turkey, Madagascar and the USA, collaborating with renowned artists and performing with orchestras such as the Mainzer Kammerorchester and the Staatsorchester Braunschweig.<\/span><\/p>\n

Her qualities as a chamber musician have earned her invitations to accompany the master-classes of violinists Anne-Sophie Mutter and Maxim Vengerov, as well as major international competitions; Katia has recorded for Radio France, S\u00fcdwestrundfunk, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk, and for the Mozart-Gesellschaft, Claves, Internationale Mendelssohn-Stiftung.<\/span><\/p>\n

She has made several recordings of works by Mozart, Schubert, Mendelssohn (winner of the Watanabe-Stipendium), Respighi and Tchaikovsky (winner of the “Orph\u00e9e d’Or” prize).<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2019 Katia has been a professor of the Geneva Conservatory. She is regularly invited to give numerous master-classes around the world.<\/span><\/p>\n
