\"\"Friederike Wiechert-Sch\u00fcle studied flute with Prof. Paul Meisen in Munich from 1985-1991. During her studies, she also participated in masterclasses with notable musicians such as Sergiu Celibidache, Ren\u00e9 Le Roy, Andr\u00e9 Jaunet, and Thierry Mathias (Paris).<\/span><\/p>\n

From 1988-1991, she held the position of principal flutist at the \u201cPhilharmonisches Orchester der Hansestadt L\u00fcbeck.\u201d Since 1991, she has been principal flutist at the \u201cSinfonie Orchester M\u00fcnster\u201d, interrupting this period for a sabbatical year (2005- 2006) in which she held the position of principal flutist at the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra in Tallinn.<\/span><\/p>\n

In addition to her orchestral career, Ms. Wiechert-Sch\u00fcle has been teaching at the \u201cRobert-Schumann-Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik\u201d in D\u00fcsseldorf since 2009. <\/span><\/p>\n

Starting in 2019, she has been repeatedly asked to act as guest instructor for masterclasses at the NTSO summer camp, Taiwan.<\/span><\/p>\n

She also frequently appears as an ardent and versatile chamber musician in different formations – such as, for example, duos for flute and bassoon; flute and guitar; trio for flute, cello and piano; and wind instrument quintets. Her versatility also included managing a number of musicians between 2003 and 2008, in addition to being personal assistant to the German composer Detlev Glanert.<\/span><\/p>\n

She is an experienced jury member for competitions and exams. Her language skills include German (native language), French (fluent) and English. During recent years, Friederike Wiechert-Sch\u00fcle has also acquired quite an expert knowledge of Yoga and Bodywork particularly geared for musicians.<\/span><\/p>\n
