\"\"Hugo Rannou is a cellist originally from Picardy and living in Stuttgart. <\/span><\/p>\n

He obtained his diploma at the National Conservatory – CRR of Amiens in the class of Michel Poulet before continuing his training with V\u00e9ronique Marin at the CRR of Rueil-Malmaison. <\/span><\/p>\n

He perfected his skills at the University of Music in Freiburg im Breisgau in the class of Adriana Contino and Daniel Grosgurin, then at the University of Music in Stuttgart in the class of Conradin Brotbek. <\/span><\/p>\n

He finished his studies in 2018 in the class of David Eggert at the University of Music in Bern. <\/span><\/p>\n

Hugo Rannou won 1st Prize in the Knopf International Competition in D\u00fcsseldorf and 2nd Prize in the Julio Cardona International Competition in Covilha (Portugal). <\/span><\/p>\n

Hugo Rannou regularly performs chamber music and his repertoire includes several centuries of music, from ancient music to contemporary music. He regularly collaborates with renowned composers. <\/span><\/p>\n

He is a member of the \u201cTRIO vis-\u00e0-vis\u201d and the \u201cChristopher James Hall Trio\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since 2020, he has been principal cello of the Pforzheim Opera in Germany.<\/span><\/p>\n

Alongside his career as a classical musician, Hugo Rannou stands out for his eclectic approach to music: he strives to perform all styles of music, particularly Jazz and song. <\/span><\/p>\n

Hugo Rannou teaches cello and pedagogy at the University of Music and Performing Arts – HMDK in Stuttgart.<\/span><\/p>\n
