\"\"<\/a>Born in H\u00f6xter, Germany, mezzo-soprano Claudia N\u00fcsse began her musical journey on the piano and violin. <\/span><\/p>\n

As a violinist, she was appointed as a permanent member of the North Rhine-Westphalia Youth Orchestra and the World Youth Orchestra of Jeunesse Musicale. <\/span><\/p>\n

After her baccalaureate, Claudia N\u00fcsse perfected her violin skills and obtained her diploma as a state-certified violin teacher at the Musikhochschule Detmold by Professor Ulf Wallin. <\/span><\/p>\n

It was at this time that she acquired her first violin teaching experience, working for five years at the municipal music school of Paderborn. <\/span><\/p>\n

She intensified her educational ambitions by studying educational sciences and pedagogy in schools and qualified for high school teaching by obtaining her state diploma. <\/span><\/p>\n

These varied studies gave her access to singing. In 1994, Claudia N\u00fcsse obtained a scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service in Bonn (DAAD) and began to study singing with Professor Kurt Widmer in Basel.<\/span><\/p>\n

She was named a laureate of the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, and participated in master classes with Brigitte Fassbaender and Elisabeth Schwarzkopf, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

Claudia N\u00fcsse appears in her own artist portrait in the film “Schubert and Co” on ZDF. In 1997, she obtained the soloist diploma with distinction from the Academy of Music in Basel.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since then, Claudia N\u00fcsse has performed regularly on stage as a mezzo-soprano, and has developed her concert activity particularly around oratorios, chamber music and contemporary music.<\/span><\/p>\n

Claudia N\u00fcsse has been a permanent member of the WDR broadcast choir since 1997.<\/span><\/p>\n

Passionate about teaching, Claudia N\u00fcsse combines the diversity of her training with her teaching. <\/span><\/p>\n

She has been teaching singing at the Robert Schumann University of Music in D\u00fcsseldorf since 1998. The content of her teaching is based on her training with her most important teachers such as Kurt Widmer, Peter Bendt and Susanne Eisch.<\/span><\/p>\n
