<\/a>Troels Svane studied with David Geringas at the Musikhochschule in L\u00fcbeck, Germany. He graduated from the soloist class with distinction and the highest grade in all subjects.<\/span><\/p>\nFurthermore he was taught by Anner Bylsma, Frans Helmerson, Ralph Kirshbaum, Gy\u00f6rgy Ligeti, Yo-Yo Ma, Siegfried Palm, Boris Pergamenschikow, Mstislav Rostropovich, Daniil Shafran, Paul Tortelier and the Amadeus Quartet.<\/span><\/p>\n He was appointed co-principal cellist of the Copenhagen Philharmonic at the age of 18. He won prizes at prestigious national and international competitions and received numerous scholarships. <\/span><\/p>\n As a soloist he has performed with most Danish orchestras and with orchestras in England, Germany, Holland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Sweden and Switzerland.<\/span><\/p>\n As a recitalist and a chamber musician Svane Troels played concerts all over Europe, Australia, Asia, South America and the United States. He performed with Yuri Bashmet, Wolfgang Boettcher, Thomas Brandis, Zakhar Bron, Ana Chumachenco, Ulf Hoelscher, Karl Leister, Sabine Meyer and Thomas Zehetmair.<\/span><\/p>\n He has recorded more than 40 CDs including the complete works for cello and piano by Beethoven, Rachmaninov and Reger.<\/span><\/p>\n Svane Troels was the assistant to David Geringas for 11 years before he was appointed Professor for violoncello at the Music school Musikhochschule in L\u00fcbeck, Germany in 2004. <\/span><\/p>\n Furthermore he teaches a cello class at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik Hanns Eisler in Berlin. <\/span><\/p>\n He has given masterclasses in Australia, Asia, South America and in numerous European countries like Ukraine and was also a jury member at international competitions.<\/span><\/p>\n His students are prize winners at prestigious international competitions (ARD, Feuermann, Geneva, Isang Yun, Rostropovich, Tchaikovsky) and members of renowned chamber music ensembles and orchestras such as the Armida Quartett, the Berlin Philharmonic and the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks in Munich.<\/span><\/p>\n [\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=”1″ _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_row _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_column type=”4_4″ _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” global_colors_info=”{}”][et_pb_button button_url=”https:\/\/troelssvane.jimdo.com\/english-1\/” button_text=”Official website of Troels Svane” button_alignment=”center” module_class=”button-prof-offwebsite” _builder_version=”4.18.0″ _module_preset=”default” custom_margin=”0px||||false|false” custom_padding=”0px||||false|false” global_colors_info=”{}”][\/et_pb_button][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section]<\/p>\n<\/span>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Troels Svane studied with David Geringas at the Musikhochschule in L\u00fcbeck, Germany.
