Including Kirill Petrenko, Sir Simon Rattle, Bernard Haitink, Franz Welser-M\u00f6st, Daniel Barenboim, Herbert Blomstedt, Iv\u00e1n Fischer, Andris Nelsons, Christoph von Dohnanyi, Zubin Mehta, Riccardo Chailly, Adam Fischer, Daniel Harding, Charles Dutoit, Andr\u00e9s Erozco-Estrada, Jes\u00fas L\u00f3pez Cobos, Enoch zu Guttenberg or Christian Thielemann and in the past Claudio Abbado, Nikolaus Harnoncourt, Kurt Masur, Lorin Maazel, Pierre Boulez, Michael Gielen, Sir Neville Marriner or Sir Charles Mackerras.<\/p>\n<p>His song debut at the Berlin Philharmonie he gave with Malcolm Martineau. At his song debut in the London Wigmore Hall Andr\u00e1s Schiff was his partner.<br \/>Further important partners on the piano were Hartmut H\u00f6ll, Hendrik Heilmann, Philippe Jordan and Daniel Barenboim.<br \/>It was Daniel Barenboim who integrated the then 27-year-old student in the ensemble of the Berlin State Opera \u201cUnter den Linden\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>In his 13 years\u2019 membership he was singing the big Mozart parts under Barenboim\u2019s management, but also Orest (Elektra), Amfortas (Parsifal), Escamillo (Carmen) or Wotan (Rhine gold).<br \/>Under Michael Gielen and Sir Simon Rattle he there vocalized Golaud (Pelleas et Melisande). Furthermore, he could work here with Gustavo Dudamel, Sebastian Weigle and Philippe Jordan. Guest contracts followed in the operas of San Francisco, Madrid, Sevilla and Modena as well as in the State Operas of Vienna, Munich, Hamburg and the Scala in Milan.<\/p>\n<p>Being successful as \u201eGolaud\u201c and \u201emusic teacher\u201c he once again will be heard in 2022 as \u201eAmfortas\u201c at the Cleveland Orchestra under Franz Welser-M\u00f6st.<\/p>\n<p>Educated as child in the Knabenkantorei Basel, Hanno M\u00fcller-Brachmann was very early sought after as a concert singer: The Rias-Kammerchor under Marcus Creed, the Collegium Vocale Gent under Philippe Herreweghe or the Monteverdi Choir under Sir John Elliot Gardiner were his partners.<br \/>He gave his debut in the New York Carnegie Hall in 2000 in Elliott Carter&#8217;s American premiere of the opera &#8220;What next&#8221; with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra under Daniel Barenboim. He had premiered this piece in the Berlin State Opera before. Another debut performance was Pascal Dusapin\u2019s opera \u201cFaustus \u2013 the last night\u201d at the Berlin State Opera as well as a song cycle of Manzoni on the occasion of Claudio Abbados\u2019 75th birthday at the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra.<br \/>In March 2017 he launched Wolfgang Rihm\u2019s \u201cRequiem-Strophen\u201d with the Symphony Orchestra of the Bavarian Broadcasting under Mariss Jansons in Munich and Lucerne.<\/p>\n<p>Today the bass baritone can look back on musical experiences with the leading orchestras in Berlin, New York, Boston, Chicago, London, San Francisco, Madrid, Shanghai, Tel Aviv, Munich, Lisbon, Cleveland, Paris, Z\u00fcrich, Los Angeles, Milan, Dresden et al.<br \/>He has been a guest at several international festivals in Salzburg, Florence, Aix, Munich, Berlin, Beijing or Edinburgh, at the Schubertiade in Schwarzenberg and the BBC Proms.<br \/>Award-winning CDs and DVDs document his work.<\/p>\n<p>In 2018, a CD was awarded with the \u201aOpus Klassik\u2018 lastly containing works of Rudi Stephan published by Sony.<br \/>Highlights of the 2019\/2020 season include concerts with the Vienna Symphony Orchestra under Philippe Jordan in Vienna and Paris, with the Gewandhaus Orchestra Leipzig under Andr\u00e9s Orozco-Estrada , with the National Symphony Orchestra in the Kennedy Center Washington under Gianandrea Noseda or with the Taipei Symphony Orchestra under Eliahu Inbal as well as recitals with Sir Andr\u00e1s Schiff, Hartmut H\u00f6ll or Jan Schulsz.<\/p>\n<p>With Hendrik Heilmann on the piano he will debut in 2020 at the legendary Chamber Music Festival Lockenhaus in the Austrian Burgenland.<\/p>\n<p>Hanno M\u00fcller-Brachmann studied in Freiburg with Ingeborg Most and in Mannheim with Rudolf Piernay. In Berlin he attended the song class of Dietrich Fischer-Dieskau. Three first prices at national competitions in a row (Bundeswettbewerb Gesang in Berlin 1992 &amp; 1994 and Meistersingerwettbewerb N\u00fcrnberg 1995) and subsequent successes in international competitions (ARD competition in Munich in 1996 and \u2018Neue Stimmen\u2019 in G\u00fctersloh 1995) mark the beginning of his professional career.<\/p>\n<p>Today he lectures as a professor for song at the Hochschule f\u00fcr Musik in Karlsruhe.<\/p>\n<p>The triple father is a juror for international competitions and is strongly committed to the preservation and improvement of musical education in Germany.
