<\/a>Alexandre L\u00e9ger studied the piano with Fran\u00e7oise Thinat and then pursued his musical studies at Paris CNSMD \u2013 Conservatoire National Sup\u00e9rieur de Musique et de Danse \u2013 with G\u00e9rard Fremy, Cyril Huv\u00e9, Christian Ivaldi and Alain Plan\u00e8s.<\/p>\nAt Paris CNSMD, he won the first piano and chamber music prize and also graduated succesfully with the Teaching diploma. Alexandre L\u00e9ger leads a multifaceted activity.<\/p>\n
He was invited to play with orchestra as recently in Eskisehir in Turkey, where he played the concerto KV 488 by Mozart under the conducting of Patrick Souillot. In recital he played the works of the great repertoire including Bach\u2019s Goldberg Variations in numerous halls in France and abroad \u2013 \u201cBeyond the fascinating digital control, is the lyricism of the collected passages key in this interpretation deeply inhabited\u201d \u2013 La R\u00e9publique du Centre. He has a strong predilection for few composers including D\u00e9odat S\u00e9verac and contemporary music he practices very early in his career in its most original form as in the Sonatas and Interludes for prepared piano by John Cage or Stockhausen\u2019s Kontakte.<\/p>\n
In chamber music he has played with the soloists of the \u201cOrchestre de Bretagne\u201d, the Manfred string quartet, Dominique Miton, Laurent the Flecher, Roland Pidoux, Francis Duroy, Gionata Sgambaro\u2026<\/p>\n
He enjoys participating in collective adventures, lately he gives the complete Schubert sonatas together with pianists H\u00e9l\u00e8ne Couvert, Christie Julien, Rebecca Chaillot, Ferenc Vizi, Sodi Braide and. Keen\u2019s vocal repertoire he accompanied many singers including Billy Jerome, Guy Fletcher, Rachel Guilloux\u2026<\/p>\n
Passionate about literature and poetry he collaborated for many years with the stage director Emmanuelle Cordoliani writing shows uncovering the relationship between literary and musical reading, their next project will see Lord Chandos Letter by Hugo von Hofmannsthal set deep in the music of Arnold Sh\u00f6nberg.<\/p>\n
At the same time, Alexandre L\u00e9ger is passionate by teaching. Occupant of the CA \u2013 Certificat d\u2019aptitude of piano, since 1997 he is a Professor at Rennes CRR \u2013 Conservatoire \u00e0 rayonnement r\u00e9gional.<\/p>\n
