Quatuor Via-Nova
The Quartet Via Nova owes its feeling of true
musical communion to its founder Jean Mouillère and the great Musicians who
have been involved with it since 1968. Its rare, clear timbre and vital spirit
breathe life into traditonal repertoires and XXth century masterpieces,
rendering each one in a "New Way". Its players have featured the world's most
illustrious soloists : Lily Laskine, Maurice Gendron, Pierre Fournier, Isaac
Stern, Mtislav Rostropovitch, Yehudi Menhuin... Its prize-winning recordings have been awared the
highest accolades : Grand Prix du Disque Français, Prix de l'Académie Charles
Cros, Grand Prix Gabriel Fauré, Grand Prix de Musique Guerlin de l'Académie des
Beaux-Arts, Prix du Président de la République... Tis international quartet has an intristic grace
