After his musical studies, Jean-Michel Varache, disciple of Gaston Crunelle and Roger Bourdin, won the third Price at the International Flute Competition in Montreux and a second Price at the International Flute Competition in Geneva.

Than, he is nominated Soloist for Lamoureux's Concerts.

Invited by many festivals, Jean-Michel Varache performs all other the world as a soloist in orchestras and in chamber music programms.

He is a also a member of the wind Soloist Quintett from the National « Ile de France » Orchestra.

Jean-Michel Varache has been recently in China for a concert-tour. He will be yet in Mexico and in Taiwan to perform all the Mozart Quartett with flute.

He has been successively nominated flute teacher at CNR - Conservatoire National de Région, in Le Mans and in Versailles (France).
