Kirill Rodin obtain his post-graduate diploma at the end of his musical studies at Moscow Tchaikovski Conservatory under the guidance of teacher N.Shakhovskaya.

Winner of International cello competitions : Kirill Rodin is first Prize and Golden Harp Prize of « Youth Music International Competition » in Belgrade in 1984.

In 1986, He won the First Gold Metal Prize at the « VIII International Tchaikovski Competition » in Moscow.

This same year, he is nominated soloist of the Moscow State Philharmonic Orchestra.

Kirill Rodin is invited to performe as a soloist for concert-tours with recitals, symphonic or chamber programms in more than 40 countries of Europe and Asia, Africa, America, Australia and New Zealand.

Currently, in addition to performing, Kirill Rodin is teacher at the Moscow Tchaikovski Conservatory. He is also a Music Guest Professor at the Beijing Central Conservatory (China) since 2002.

Kirill Rodin gives master classes in Germany, United Kingdom, Spain, Japan, Korea, China, Australia, Argentina, Uruguay and Singapore.

He is Jury menber of many International Competitions.

Kirill Rodin has recorded many CD with Bach, Beethoven, Haydn, Brahms, Grieg, TchaÏkovski, Rachmaninov, Chostakovitch or Piazolla's music.
