José-Diego Ramos

José Diego Ramos was born in Villarreal (Spain) in 1986 and began his musical studies at the age of 10, with Agustín Martínez and Sofía Sifres.

He won the 2nd Prize in the Ending of the Piano's Middle Grade of the "Conservatorio Profesional de Piano Francisco Tárrega" and the 1st Prize as a flutist at the same conservatory.

He improved his piano skills with Paul Badura-Skoda and then with A. Soria at the "Conservatorio Superior de Música de Castellón" and his chamber music skills with Jordi Mora. Meanwhile, he continued his flute studies with Juan Serrano

As a gifted pianist, he has won various national and international prizes as the First Prize obtained in the "Ximen D`Urrea`s Chamber Music National Competition" (1999) the First Prize in the "Girona International Competition" (Girona, 2000) and the Second Television competition Prize "Veo-veo" (Channel 9, 2000).

José Diego Ramos has performed as a soloist for numerous piano recitals and also with orchestras in Spain, Italy and France within famous festivals.
