Dominique MITON started studying music at Besançon CRR - Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional - where she obtains violin, viola and chamber music diplomas.

Then, she continues her studies at Lyon CNSMD - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse - where she obtains succesfully a First Prize.

Solo viola at Besançon Chamber Orchestra, Dominique Miton is also a member of the Lyon sextet the Arcana Quintet and the Besançon String Trio.

Founder of the French « Médialto » Association, she is regularly invited to play in France and Europe as a soloist and in chamber music.

Passionate by teaching, Dominique Miton is assistant professor at Lyon CNSMD and also Professor at Besançon CRR.
