Véronique Marin
Véronique Marin studied cello at Rennes CNR -
Conservatoire National de Région with Guy Lepeu and at Paris CNSM -
Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique with Philippe Müller where she
obtained the First cello and chamber music (Bruno Pasquier's class) Prices. In 1985, she won a Special Popper Prize at « Pablo
Casals » International Cello Competition in Budapest. Than she performed with the Albert Roussel String
quartett who improved with Jean-Claude Bernède and Pierre Pénassou at Paris
CNSM and wan a Price at Evian International string quartett Competition. In 1988, she created « le Trio des Iscles » with
the violinist Pierre-Olivier Queyras and the pianist François Daudet. Winner at the Menuhin Fondation, the Trio
performed in many festivals ; International Besançon Festival, Sceaux orangerie
Festival, "Musique et Espérance" in Périgord, Lyon's "Musicades", Paris "Mozart
Friends", Chopin Association, Lyon's Chamber music Society… and abroad in
Italy, Austria, Portugal, Grmany, Czech Republic, Canada, USA... From 1990 to 2002, Véronique Marin is soloist
member at the FA Ensemble (conducter Dominique My). She performed also with the Paris « Ensemble
Intercontemporain » under Pierre Boulez David Robertson or Jonathan Nott
conducting. She is teacher at Paris CNSM - conservatoire
National Supérieur de Musique, at Rueil-Malmaison CNR - Conservatoire National
de Région and at Raincy's Conservatory. She is regularly invited to give master classes at
« Banff Centre of Fine Arts » in Canada and in Spain. |
