Fabio Furia
Fabio Furia began by studying piano and classic accordion at seven years old with Professor Eliana Zajec. At 16 years old, he started to play clarinet with Professor Roberto Gander at The Cagliari Music Academy where he obtained his diploma with distinction. Then, he perfected his play with Anthony Pay and Alessandro Carbonare before winning numerous prices in international competitions. Fabio Furia is often invited to perform in Italy, Canada, Mexico, Croatia, Germany and France with musicians and orchestras such as Solisti della Scala, Anthony Pay, Franco Ormezowski, Roberto Cappello, the Turner string quartet, the Budapest string quartet, the Kodaly string quartet, the Academia Strumentale di Roma, the Salzburg Chamber soloists or the Kiev Symphonic Orchestra. Fabio Furia also performed in the famous Dvorak Hall in Rudolfinum home to the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, where he played Mozart concerto for clarinet and orchestra. He is a member of Anton Stadler duet, with who he is invited in numerous European festivals, and with whom he recorded several CDs. Fabio Furia is also a Professor at the Cagliari Music Conservatory. |
