Carole Dauphin
Carole Dauphin began her musical studies at 7
years old at the Fontenay-sous-bois Conservatoire where she obtain a First
Prize - unanimous vote in 1987 in M. Kirijean's class. In 1989, she obtained the First Price - unanimous
vote at Paris CNR - Conservatoire National de Région and in 1990, the First
Prize at the National Competition for young viola player. Then, the same year, she becomes successfully
student at Lyon CNSMD - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique, in Tasso
Adamopoulos class. In 1994, Carole Dauphin obtain the First prize «
Diplôme National d'Etudes Supérieures Musicales » at Lyon CNSMD before starting
there an improvement cycle. Prize winner at Geneva International Competition
in 1997, Carole Dauphin has been playing as a soloist under the conducting of
Peter Csaba and Marc-Olivier Dupin. She is regularly invited to play as a soloist and
in chamber music in Paris with the Ensemble Intercontemporain, Paris Opera,
Paris Orchestra.. Carole Dauphin is also playing in many prestigious festivals
such as « Festival International de Narbonne », Rencontres Musicales de
Lorraine, Festival Musicalta with Roland Pidoux, Annick Roussin, Jean-Pierre
Sabouret, Laurent Cabasso, Marianne Piketti, Patrice Fontanarosa, Philippe
Bernold .. From 1996 to 2001, Carole Dauphin was a member of
the « Banquet » ; soloist ensemble playing contemporary music. She takes part in many shows where music is mixed
with theater or dance. Carole Dauphin is teaching viola at Paris CNR -
Conservatoire National de Région. |
