Andrea Corazziari

Andrea Corazziari was born in Rome in 1975. He studied piano and chamber music at the Rome Conservatory and then he perfected at Imola International Academy «Incontri col Maestro» and at Siena Chiagana Academy with Giovanni Valentini, Boris Petrushanskj, Antonio Ballista, Pier Narciso Masi, and the Trieste Trio.

He drew attention to him in many national and international competitions in piano as well as in chamber music.

Passionate performer of contemporary music for solo piano, Andrea Corazziari won several prizes such as «SACEM», «Nadia Boulanger» and «André Chevillon-Yvonne Bonnaud» Prizes at the Orléans International Competition.

He also won the First Prize at the «Valentino Bucchi» International Competition in Roma in 2000.

Andrea Corazziari performs successfully in many european cities as a soloist with orchestra, and also as a chamber musician.

He played in famous festivals such as the «Roque d’Anthéron», «Romaeuropa» and «Settembre musica» festivals in such halls as the Cortot Hall in Paris, the Konzerthaus in Berlin, in Maastricht and at the Milan Auditorium. Andrea Corazziari also cooperated with the Milan Symphonic Orchestra playing under Riccardo Chailly direction.

Italian, french and dutch radio and TV channels broadcasts his concerts.

He is involved in contemporary music, cooperating with educational institutions and he often works with italian and foreign today composers.

Andrea Corazziari recorded a CD dedicated to Moussorgski, and he has a record project about Ligeti's piano studies.

Nowadays, he lives and works in France.

Holder of the CA (state teaching diploma), he teaches in Paris at the «Nadia and Lili Boulanger» Conservatory - Paris IX.

He also gives international piano and chamber music Master Classes in France and in Italy.
