François-Xavier Bourin
François-Xavier Bourin started his studies at 5
years old at Champigny sur Marne and at Créteil. He entered at the Lyon CNSMD - Conservatoire
National Supérieur de Musique. He is already accepted first solo oboe at the
Toulouse National Orchestra when he obtains his First Prize in J. Chambon's
class at Lyon CNSMD. He is invited in many festivals in Saint Jean de Luz,
Vaison la Romaine, Montreux... Prize winner of Paris and Tokyo International
Competitions, he enters in Strasbourg Philharmonic Orchestra in 1985. At that
time he goes on tour in the Alsace region, playing Mozart, Albinoni, Vivaldi
concertos with the chamber ensemble « Les Cordes de Strasbourg ». Since 1992, he is regularly invited in different
french orchestras such as Paris Orchestra or Paris Opera Orchestras. François-Xavier Bourin dedicates a part of his
time to pedagogy by teaching for the « Orchestre Français des Jeunes » and
since 1999, at the music school of Bry sur Marne. He tries to impact to his
student musical tradition and the pleasure of playing inspired by his own
teachers. He is also the inventor of a quick engaging
mecanism for wind instrument mounting (Rigoutat) and is currently playing on
this prototype. |
