Christiane Baume-Sanglard

Christiane Baume-Sanglard attended Gérard Kummer classes for her professional piano studies in Jura (France) before winnig the Virtuosity prize in Neuchâtel Conservatoire in late Olivier Sörensen class.

She then improved with various masters and was taught by pianist Avo Kouyoumdjian, teacher from the Vienna music academy.

Nowadays, she is regularly invited to perform with numerous musician, singers, choirs and orchestras. She often perform piano duos with Gérard Wyss or Diana Ciocarlie and also with clarinestist Fréderic Rapin.

She collaborates regularly with the Berlin Philharmonic orchestra string quintet.

Christiane Baume-Sanglard is regularly invited at St-Ursane (Switzerland) international piano festival.

Her musical personality leads her up to play in numerous countries.

She has created various contemporary pieces and knows how to give back the authentic atmosphere to the composers she plays.

Public and reviewers enjoy the mastery and maturity of her performances specially in Mozart and Ravel pieces.

Christiane Baume-Sanglard is Professor at the « Haute Ecole Pédagogique de l'Arc Jurassien » (Switzerland).
