Durant 11 années, Musicalta n'a cessé de croître, affirmant avec
toujours plus de conviction ce credo : faire vivre la musique en
milieu rural à un niveau d'excellence comparable à celui des grandes
cités urbaines.
Pari fou d'une poignée de musiciens, Musicalta, C'est
d'abord un festival osé en marge des lieux de concentration
culturelle.
Musicalta, c'est aussi la parole donnée à tous les grands
artistes qui ont accompagné ces 11 années.
Et surtout, c'est le choix d'une programmation sans tabou,
où Mozart, Beethoven, Debussy dialoguent avec certains des
plus grands créateurs d'aujourd'hui ; M. Levinas, S. Giraud,
W. Motz, N. Vérin, P. Leroux, T. Blondeau, T. Escaïch,
R.Pascal et avec des compositeurs à redécouvrir ;
F. Schmitt, C. Koechlin et tant d'autres, avec de larges
détours par le jazz, l'improvisation et la musique
électroacoustique.
Aujourd'hui, avec près de 7000 festivaliers, 350 étudiants,
et 200 musiciens venus des 5 continents réunis à Rouffach,
Musicalta est aussi un espace de formation où professionnels
et amateurs se rencontrent autour de brillants interprètes
et pédagogues de notre temps.
Alors, vous aussi, n'hésitez plus, poussez la porte et
laissez vous guider dans l'intimité des oeuvres et de leurs
auteurs, pour qu'une fois de plus, Bach, Mozart, Chopin,
Caplet, soient synonymes d'échanges, de partage et de
joie.

Musicalta Festival
Skilfully intertwining centuries of Music, Musicalta is
programming an exceptional year with international famed
artists. A route to Rhenish Roman Architecture, Rouffach
will be able to perform the concerts of Musicalta in
different churches of neighbouring "Pays de Rouffach".
Around the festival, the "festival off" offer free entry for
a "unique musical bath for everyone" with more than 40
students concerts (from recital to chamber orchestra and
choir), lectures and musical working with musicologists,
doctors, string instrument makers...
Musicalta 2006 11th season will take place from 22nd of july
to the 9th of august. This year will be a new opportunity
for Musicalta to prove a high musical quality and the main
intention to stay close to all the listeners.
Mozart, Schumann, Brahms, Chostakovitch, Chopin...will be
played by prestigious musicians. For an opening to everyone,
attractive prices are proposed for festival concerts!
