Pierre-Michel Vigneau began his musical studies at Strasbourg Conservatory playing on a Lily Laskine personnal collection harp. Then he continued his studies at Paris CNSMD - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse - where he obtained First Harp and chamber Music Prices successfully at the age of 15. Invited to play as a soloist in famous orchestras, Pierre-Michel Vigneau won several International competitions such as Paris, Gargilesse, Jérusalem, Rome and Bordeaux. Then, he was nominated First Soloist Harp at Strasbourg Philarmonic Orchestra where he still play today, soloist at Radio France and also at Cziffra french Foundation. Pierre-Michel Vigneau is regularly invited to perform as a soloist and in chamber music in such festivals as the Langeais International Days, Saint-Galmier, Sceaux, Albi, Versailles, Bordeaux, Brussels, Liege, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Sarajevo, Maastricht and Zurich Festivals, and also during the Lucerne International Music Weeks, during the Arles Harp International Days... He recorded for the three TV chains and regularly took part to radio shows broadcasted on France Musique and France Culture. Being passionate by teaching Pierre-Michel Vigneau is regularly invited in France and Europe to give master classes. He is also invited as a jury member for national and international harp and chamber music competitions. He is Harp Professor at Strasbourg CRR - Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional. |
