Lethiec
Award winner of several violin International prizes such as « Ferras-Barbizet » (Vichy, France), Greensboro (U.S.A.) and finalist of the Enesco Bucarest contest, Saskia Lethiec received J.P. Wallez violin education (Geneva Conservatory) as well as Gérard Poulet education during her Improvement cycle at the Paris CNSMD - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. She studied chamber music with Alain Meunier, Christian Ivaldi and Walter Levin. Saskia Lethiec got a grant from the Chicago Ravinia Festival and took part in master classe with such great musicians as Miriam Fried, Claude Franck, Maurice Hasson and Michaela Martin. She performed as a soloist with the French Cannes PACA Orchestra, and abroad with the the Simon Bolivar Orchestra and the Caracas National Symphony Orchestra, the Prague Brixis Orchestra, the Budapest Concentus Hungaricus Orchestra and the EMF Orchestra (U.S.A.). Guest of many french festivals, Saskia Lethiec is regularly invited in such wellknow festivals as Radio France in Montpellier and Orsay, Sceaux Festival...and she also performs in foreigner festivals such as Den Haag Diligentia, Amsterdam Concertgebouw, Geneva Victoria Hall, Prague Rodolphinum. She is one of the founder member of the Hoboken Trio with Jérôme Granjon (pianist) and Renaud Déjardin (cellist). Saskia Lethiec is violin Professor at Versailles CRR - Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional. She recorded several times for Deron, Arion, Lyrinx. |
