Trio
Hoboken
Founded in June 2003 by three soloists and music chamber musicians attracted by the beauty of the trio with piano repertory. Choose to call the trio “Hoboken”, name of the Dutchman musicologist who filed the entire work of Joseph Hayden, is a way to outstay one's welcome in this composer's work which is actually the Founding Father of the trio with piano. Fed with this reference, it's with curiosity and demand that they get onto the immense trio repertory, from the end of the 18th century to the contemporary composers. Since June 2003 the Hoboken trio has already performed during many seasons and festivals such as the Aix en Provence Festival, the Prades Pablo Casals Festival, the Colmar, Girona, Paris, Reims, Sceaux Festivals, but the trio also performed on the radio (France Musiques) and is a part of the artistic agency BS management. Style-conscious to enlarge their repertory but also to touch a larger audience, they performed since august 2007 with the accordionist Richard Galliano in a brand new project “From Haydn to Galliano”. Their astonishing cohesion and the high quality of their interpretations have been saluted by the audience and the critic at the time of their record release Smetana / Dvorak produced by Lyrinx. |
