Françoise Biscara was born in Niort (France).
She began her musical studies in Poitiers and Angoulême (1979/84) and she pursued her singing studies in Holland with Bernard Kruysen (1984/90), in Paris with Régine Crespin (1991/92) and Irène Aitoff (90/96) and in Lyon with Monique Mathon (86/01).
Since 2002, she also improved with Margreet Honig, Lena Lootens and Ronald Klekamp.
Françoise Biscara began as a member of the Choir in Lille Opera (1985/86) and in Lyon Opera (1986/89), before pursuing her soloist career with melodie and lieder recital with such pianists as Noël Lee, Vincent Minazzoli, or Philippe Grammatico. She also sings oratorio, and contemporary music.
She is also singing in the best famous french vocal ensemble such as « les Solistes de Lyon » with conductor Bernard Tétu, the french « Groupe Vocal » under the conducting of John Poole, the Young Soloists with conductor Rachid Safir or the New vocal Ensemble with conductor Henri Farge.
Françoise Biscara is a singer teacher at Lyon CNSMD - « Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse » since 1994. She is also teacher at Lyon Voice Center - « Centre de la Voix Rhône-Alpes » since 2003.
