Delaval
After her studies at the Douai National conservatory with Michel Debels, Chrystel Delaval is admitted at the Paris CNSMD - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse - in Jean-Pierre Rampal's class. In 1974, she obtains a First flute Price and in 1975 a first chamber music Price at Paris CNSMD and she is admitted successfully in the third Cycle of Improvement the same year Chrystel Delaval is award winner of Internationals competition such as Vercelli (Italy 1976), « La Guilde Française » (France 1978), Jean-Pierre Rampal International competition (France 1980) and Paris UFAM International chamber music Competition with the Lille Wind Quintett (France 1983). She became First Solo flute at the Lille National Orchestra in 1977. In 1981, she is nominated as first solo flute at the National Opera Theater Orchestra in Paris. Then, after few months, she demonstrates the will to come back to the Lille National Orchestra where she get back to her first solo flute place. Regularly invited to play as soloist with several wellknown orchestras (Lyon National Opera Orchestra, Paris National Orchestra, Ensemble Intercontemporain), Chrystel Delaval performes under the direction of famous international conductors such as Pierre Boulez, Georg Solti, Seiji Ozawa... Chrystel Delaval obtained her French teaching Diploma in 1978. She is Flute Professor at the Lille National Conservatory, CRR - Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional. |
