Professional biography of David Leszczynski
David Leszczynski

Born in 1978 at Lublin (Poland), David Leszczynski is admitted at Paris Superior Conservatory – CNSMD in 1993 in Michel Béroff piano class. He obtained a First piano Price three years later and First prices in harmony, fugue, forms and piano accompaniment unanimously.

He is also winner of the « Drouet Bourgeois » Price from the « Fondation de France ».

He improves his studies with such musician as György Sebok, Alexander Satz, Aldo Ciccolini, Mikhaïl Voskressensky or Jean-François Heisser.

In 1999, David Leszczynski wan the 3rd Price at the International piano Competition « Citta di Camaïore ».

David Leszczynski is playing as a soloist in France ; Auditorium Saint- Germain, Poland Ambassade and Institut, Rossini Hall, Adyar Hall, St Eustache Auditorium, Reuilly Hall, Claude Debussy Hall…and abroad ; in Belgium, Spain, Poland, Portugal.

He plays recitals and also with orchestra for festivals ; Villecroze, Moulin d'Andé, Flaine, Piano des Dômes…), or for french radios as France-Musiques, or France-Culture beside such musicians as Xavier Phillips or Vincent Davidor.

David Leszczynski recently played the Mendelssohn Concerto for violin and piano, the Liszt 2nd piano Concerto, the 4th Beethoven Concerto, a recital with french contemporary music… He has been also recording a new CD with Paderewski music.

David Leszczynski is teaching piano at Paris Maurice Ravel Conservatory. He is also professor at Paris Superior Conservatory - CNSMD where he teaches fugue and forms.
