Professional biography of Caroline Boita
Caroline Boita

Caroline Boita began her cello studies at Poitiers CRR - Conservatoire à rayonnement régional - where she obtains a First Prize unanimously in 1998.

She pursues her studies at Boulogne Billancourt CRR - Conservatoire à rayonnement regional where she obtains two Prizes unanimously in 2001 ; a cello Prize in Michel Strauss’ class and a Chamber music Prize in Hortense Cartier Bresson class.

The same year, Caroline Boita is admitted at Paris CNSMDP - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse - in Michel Strauss’ (assistant Guillaume Paoletti) class and in the chamber music classes of Christian Ivaldi, Maurice Bourgue, Daria Hovora, and Itamar Golan.

She obtains the cello and chamber music DFS - Superior formation Diploma - with Grade A pass and the First Prize unanimously with felicitations in Marc Coppey’s class with the Hespéris Quartett.

Caroline Boita is selected in 2003 by Cristoph Eschenbach to participate at the first academy of Paris Orchestra with wich she is regularly invited to play under the direction of Plasson, Salonen, Janovsky, Sado, Boulez…

Caroline Boita is a member of Estampe Trio and Slancio Trio with who she won in 2004 a Rotary Prize.

She is regularly invited to perform in chamber music.

Caroline Boita is teaching cello at Clamart CRD - Conservatoire à Rayonnement Départemental.
