Blondeau
Born in France in Vincennes in 1961, Thierry Blondeau studied music and litterature in Paris and Berlin and obtained a First composition Price successivelly at the Paris CNSMD - Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse - and at Kunste Hochschule. Resident at Rome Villa Médicis (Italy) from 1994 to 1996, Thierry Blondeau is winner from « Villa Médicis outer parts of Roma » in 1998 in Basel (Switzerland). He has been resident composer at Brest Conservatory (France) from 1998 to 2000, and at « Schloss Sollitude Akademie » in 2000 in Stuttgart. Resident composer in Annecy from 2000 to 2002, Thierry Blondeau collaborated to create the M.I.A - Annecy Inventive Music, new place for research and diffusion for contemporary music. From 2002 to 2003, he was invited in Berlin as a resident composer by the DAAD - German Academic Exchange Office. Thierry Blondeau's compositions are composed mainly for chamber music for all sort of musical formation such as ; « Plötzlich » (1996), for 7 instruments, « Au-delà » (1997), fro 2 2 orchestra groups, « Pêle-mêle » (2000 - 10 minutes version, for 6 instruments and électroacoustic system), « Les espaces préludiques » (2002) for moving chamber orchestra, « Lieux et non-lieux » (2001/2005) for clarinett, guitar and cello, « Pêle-mêle » (2003 – one hour version, for 10 instruments and électroacoustic system) Thierry Blondeau is lecturer Assistant Professor at Marc Bloch University where he teaches composition. His composition are published by Ricordi and Jobert. |
